Well well Oh!well

Shakespeare says, “All’s well that ends well”  how true! When troubles are over, all we end up saying is, ” well well oh well! All is well that ends well”

I would like to add a bit to it. I feel, ” All is certainly gona be well if you BEGIN well” So lets begin well and proclaim great things in our lives!

A Night before they leave

As I sit here, wrapping up my conversations with my Mummy Papa…. A day prior to their departure back home, my mind travels back and forth. Feeling sad as they are going home is obvious, but that urge to stay with them just a moment more, never cease to exist. How a daughter wishes that her parents could stay with her forever and for always.

I plan to wake up really really early tomorrow so I don’t miss out on the morning tea with them. Oh! I won’t need the alarm tomorrow. Heart filled with immense grief, would I sleep??

Cooking for my family is a custom. How I wish I could cook for my Papa everyday, make my Mummy taste those awesome dishes and tell her, ” Maa, I have learnt it all from you!”

I know they too are hiding their tears. It’s most difficult for a father to say good bye to her daughter. Papa keeps saying, “we will come back soon….for more days” using every possible words to mellow the effect of their departure on me and himself. Mom tries to comfort me as much as possible, that’s her way of showing that she misses me already!

It’s a night before my Mummy Papa leave…. And all I can think of is… I need a moment more with them ….just a MOMENT more!!

Kajal Dharod ‘s All About Christmas

Christmas time is up. Feeling festive already 🙂 Christmas for me has changed as I have grown up each moment. Earlier it was Gifts gifts and just gifts 🙂 But now being a mommy, I see Christmas differently! It’s more of imparting the significance, planning a bash for the kids and making sure they make memories, I may not live forever, the memories will!

Was looking for something that will engage my kids but not harm really like a screen time does. And I found just that…. Kajal Dharod’s “ALL ABOUT CHRISTMAS” by #Vitamin Simple. It would be incorrect to call it a book or even an activity book. With Nativity Story, Santa Clause Interview, over 400 stickers, colouring and craft activities, I would tag this as an unparallel CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE.

So my son was unwell. And Kajal’s #All about Christmas really helped him utilize his time optimally. He dint want screentime, which for a Mommy of hyperactive boys is a blessing. And it covers the age group of 3-9 years.

The book comenses with Nativity story, creatively imparts information about Saint Nicholas fondly known as Santa Claus ( it helps mommies too, helps us improve our bedtime stories) with stickers spread in the sheets with extra ones incase kids tear or miss one. So far, I have not seen any book who fulfills the festivity, creativity and time Management amongst kids at this scale.

Further the quality of the stickers is amazing and easy to use. So don’t wonder what to do this Christmas Vacation and Order the book Right away here: https://yourlearningcapsules.com/allaboutchristmas

Kajal’s iDiwali

With Diwali around the corner, vacation too is around. While we light all the corners of our house, won’t we be enlightening the most important corner in the world… Our kid’s “Mind”  So how to do that? Prompt answer is Knowledge.

Being an avid researcher in Indian and world History and Mythology, I was searching for something that imparts basic and yet complete information on the enormous tale ~Ramayan. Guess what I found?? A perfect book for kids to spend this Diwali with!

iDiwali – from Mythology to DIY cards

Just encountered a wonder book. It’s a kid’s activity book which garners information on why Diwali? Who were involved in making this festival, such a massive celebration. It caters the age group between 3 to 9 years. The cover page in a Tablet Layout is so attractive that it instantly grabs the attention of our naughty little ones. Saying it by personal experience 😉 Both my very naughty boys age 8 years and 4 years weren’t interested in their gadgets for a good long time as they were busy checking out #iDiwali by #KajalDharod  !! Well that’s a victory forsure.

Oh what a best way to learn lineage and family tree. Yes there are exercises in the book which helps them understand proceeding and succeeding characters and occurance of Ramayan. There are relevant festive stickers and #DIY (Do it yourself) Diwali cards which will be a wonderful indoor activity for kids this vacation. Isn’t that we want always? Our kids doing something productive instead of watching those crybaby cartoons??

The Psychology of a child is like a magnet. It attracts and want to grab everything around. Let’s feed the magnet with the right kind of elements for an overall growth of our kids. iDiwali is just that.

Safe, Conceptual and Comprehensive Learning

It needs very little attention by Parents, unlike those scissors and glue activity books, where we are in a constant scare of our lil precious kiddos hurting themselves and we end up keeping our eyeballs popped open wide all through! Oh iDiwali is such a relief. This book not only helps understand the in-depth concept of Diwali and Ramayan but it is also instrumental in seeding the Creative skill (which is very important for the wholistic growth of a child) which distinguishes this book from others available in the market. Decoding Ancient Scriptures, Texts and Proverbs…. What they really wanted to convey! Part 2

Picking up from where we left on Part 1. Still on Brahma.

So, Brahma despite being the creator is never worshipped. How many temples do we see of Brahma? Well legend has two stories to testify and to lead us further. First one is about the greed to ace. It says that once Brahma and Vishnu were in an argument as to who is a greater God. Brahma the creator or Vishnu the Sustainer?  ( I personally think its SHIVA the destroyer… But my views don’t really count here😄) So Shiva intervened in the arguement and challenges both the lords to reach the highest and inner most part of his Shivling in the most giant manifested form.  While Lord Vishnu choses to simply worship Shiva, Brahma decides to cheat (Logic and psychology has it, its easier for the maker of the rules to actually break it than the ones following them). He falsly claims to have accomplished the task and also convinces Ketaki flower to testify the same. Shiva finds out the truth and curses Brahma that the one who is not pure and true wont be worshipped. Also, Ketaki flower wont ever be used in any rituals. The custom follows till date. Second story is about sexual desire and Saraswati river which we will cover in another post. So he is never really worshipped.

Soon post creation of the Brahmaand, Brahma requested Shiva to part with sati as world needed energy. I personally think all the energy in the universe comes from a single source – Sati. Call it a goddess, or call it the ultimate power…. Does that make a difference?

Well this is what legend says. In my opinion, the reasoning is different.

Who do we worship? The one who fulfills our PRESENT NEEDS.

We are thankful for Lord Brahma for creating us. But thats about it. How many of us think of the soil or seeds that created the massive tree? Just alike, we worship Vishnu because He helps us sustain. We worship Lord Shiva because we fear destruction or death. Over a passage of time, people forgot the significance of the one who created and emphasis jumped on survival and sustainability. AFTER ALL, ISNT MOVING ON THE PIVOTAL TASK OF OUR EXISTENCE? Hence Vishnu and Shiva are placed in our shrines at home as well as outside. Brahma is known for his scientific planning. He planned the world or say worlds. I strongly believe there are more worlds than just us. There are more universes than just ours which makes it Multi-verse.

So do we have any ancient Scriptures to testify my theory and belief of a multi verse?  Well, my research says yes there is. Our books and scripts have so many secrets hidden within them. We just need to rake it up. I am trying to do just that through my blog amd extensive research. Lets discuss that in the next Part of my blog.

Decoding Ancient Scriptures, Texts and Proverbs…. What they really wanted to convey! part 1

The blog is about decoding Ancient Scriptures, Texts and Proverbs. Although we may never know what Past really wanted to convey, we can add 2 + 2 and browse through the wonderful legacies left behind for us in the form of Veda, Purans, Upnishads, Maha kavyas and hearsay stories carried forward by our ancestors.

It will be a several part series where we will discuss only few points in one post.

Lets begin from the beginning. Brahma!

The origins of the Lord which is one of the TRIMURTI are undefined. He is often termed as the ULTIMATE REALITY (Brahman). Pandits are often termed as Brahmin. Their mention is seen several times in Vedic Scripts. We can safely presume Him to be a Vedic God.

Despite being such an important aspect of evolution, how many of us worship Him? There too is a reason which we will discuss in the next post.

Big bang never created Universe, may be earth or even solar system but certainly not the entire Universe or Multi -verse. It always existed and will continue to exist. Vedic Scripts also refer to Parallel realities. As per calculations, one day of Brahma equals 4320 million years. This span is called a Kalpa. Each Kalpa is further divided into Chaturyugs (4 yugs). Naming them is easy… First one is Krita yug or Satya yug. Second is Treta, making third Dvapar and fourth Kali yug. Due to different calculation systems, the starting point of any yug is not clear in our scripts but this blog is an effort to join the dots, research the past and arrive at the Primeval Truth. There is a clear mention in Mahabharat about the beginning of Kaliyug. Which makes Krishna’s demise the end of Dvapar you. Approximately, 14 years after Krishna’s death in his earthly form, the Kaliyug commensed. According to a researcher Ludo Rocher, the total of all yugs is somewhere close to 4320000 years.

Watch out this space and blog for more on Mahabharat, Yugs, Gita and Manvantaras.
